I am so thankful to God for what He has called you to do! My husband, Shane, and our family attended "As For Me and My House" family conference at FBC Albany, GA. Your testimony truly spoke to us. We have been really struggling with a lot of the things you covered in the conference, namely irritability tops the list. Since the conference we have committed to doing a daily family devotional and prayer time. I can already feel the power of God taking hold! We have always had Him around...somewhere in the shadows...but now we are committed to making Him the CENTER of this family! Thank you so much for that weekend. By the way, we werent even supposed to be in town that weekend. Our son's baseball tournament got cancelled, and we signed up at the last minute for the conference! God is so good!!

Wow, I felt the presence of God this past weekend at the Marriage Matters Retreat at Lake DeGray. You two are a powerful team for God. Morgan and I were so blessed to have been there and as difficult as it was, really happy we were asked and allowed to give our testimony this weekend. Thanks for what you do.

Posted by Debbie Jackson on 17-Jan-2012 at 12:59:33 EST Subject: Hello from Amarillo, Texas
Dear Steve and Debbie,
I don't know if you remember me, my husband Jeff and I met you in Glorietta in 2009 and you prayed with us on Sunday morning before you spoke. We were able to "catch" the two of you alone and shared with you the call God had given us for marriages. We are from Amarillo and are good friends with Rad and Larissa Borg. I was diagnosed with cancer January 2010 and we brought a group to Lubbock when you guys spoke at Calvary Baptist. First of all, I am cancer free!! So now the work has begun...we are heading up intentional marriage ministry at Paramount Baptist and are looking for speakers and a place to replace Glorietta (so sad). We have gone from taking 9 couples (2009) to 35 couples (2011) and are asking the Lord to direct us to another place. We don't want to lose the momentum. So, my question is...are you guys booked in September? I looked at your calendar and saw that October is full but didn't see September dates listed and didn't know if you took off that month or not. We don't have a place yet but are looking at Colorado Springs. It's a little further distance, but not much further than Glorietta. We have had a couple of classes of 6 Mosquitoes and had a really good response, so some of our people have "met" you guys. And of course we talk about you alot! Anyway, those are my questions. We wish we could come to Ridgecrest...maybe the Lord will provide a way. You never know!
Thank you guys so much and glad to see that you are going to be grandparents again! It's the BEST!! We had our 6th granddaughter last July...it's pinkalicious and estrogen filled at our house!
Blessings to the Wilson's from the Jackson's!
Debbie

Hi Steve and Debbie. I just wanted to stop by and say Thank You for the wonderful weekend in Branson this last weekend. You have blessed both my husband and I. This was our first FOM event and we can not wait until next year. I was looking for your shirts online that you had at the conference and I couldn't find them. The ones that said "if you leave, I'm going with you". Will you be putting them on your online store soon? Thank you again for all that you do. God Bless your ministry.

Hi Steve & Debbie,
We are the couple from Pleasant Valley in Liberty. I just wanted to say how wonderful last weekend in Branson was for us and we have shared about your with the leaders of our marriage ministry at PV. I haven't had the change to speak to Jim Landers, but I will do that this week. God bless you both in all that you're doing to save marriages and head couples back toward the Lord. You are very special people and we appreciate all you have and will do in the name of Jesus to change lives. Thanks!!!

Thank You for your work you do!!! God used you both this weekend to bless so many. I personally come home with little nuggets of wisdom that I will be able to share with the women I am working with in my ministry. Debbie nailed it when she said your passion is birthed from pain. I look forward to getting your newsletter & seeing how God continues to use you both to further His Kingdom. Please pray for me as I am helping women seek healing from being sexually abused, traumatized &/or misuse. God keeps revealing these women who have carried this secret for years & this is where I come in & reassure them that God wants us to be fullfilled in ALL areas of our life. I purchased your communication set @ FOM this weekend & plan to use it as one of my tools while helping these women heal. May God continue to bless you in all you do!!!

My husband and I were at the Conference in Branson this past weekend and I just wanted you two to know that you were the best speakers we have ever heard. It was great to hear from "real" people who have had "real" problems. Sometimes we hear people who stand up and are the "perfect couple" and we all know that is impossible! My husband and I have both been married before and were in abusive relationships, not just physical. We found each other again, I say again because we dated in high school for 4 years and then did not see or hear from each other for 7 years, so actually what i mean is that God brought us together after those relationships and we have been able to heal each other. I loved what Steve said when he stated that one of the best things about being married is being able to heal hurts caused by others. We just really appreciated you guys and thank you for what you do. Our life is a prime example of busyness getting in the way. We both teach and coach and my husband is a youth minister so for about 3 months we don't really see each other, much less talk to each other, especially when we have 3 young children ages 6, 3, and 8 months! It was awesome to get away together and even more awesome to have the privilege to hear you two speak! I love that Steve always says "hello" and "2x4 to the forehead" great sayings :) God bless your ministry and we pray we get the chance to hear you again.

Hey Steve and Debbie!
It's Evan and Mallory Semanco, we've been married almost 6 months now and it's so great! We miss seeing you guys, and hate that you're doing the Lovestrong in Longview instead of Shreveport. We were just looking online for some kind of devotional to do together and thought we'd ask ya'll for a recommendation! Mal's not a real big reader and we were looking for something maybe a little different.
We'd really appreciate any help, we value ya'lls opinion a lot! Thanks,
Evan and Mallory

Thank you both so much for coming to Gospel Mission!
Seeing you both last night and today was such a joy. Almost like a reunion with old friends. It is so nice to have family come by for a visit. And you both are family! And then to have you speak to us about relationships and open your lives to us is just an added bonus!! God blesses us each time we see you.
Your ministry is such a breath of fresh air in this microwave world we live in. If it's not done right and FAST just throw it away and move on to the next thing. Relationships do take a lot of hard work. And not just the marital relationship. When I get done with this I have to call my son and do some fence mending because of a couple things you made me aware of when you spoke to us. And Bobbi and I will do a lot of talking tonight and in time to come also.
If you ever start to wonder if you are in the right ministry, stop! God has used you and your life experiences to do wonderful things and to cause many I'm sure to reexamine what life is all about and what's really important.
God bless you both and thank you so much for coming.
In Christ, Steve

hi Steve and Debbie, wow, its nice to have a Christian fellowship online that strongly supports marriage in today's society! I saw your advertisement on TV and i am fighting for my marriage to remain strong and close to the Lord. My husband, ken, is deployed overseas in Bahrain, with the USCG. We have had one of the hardest times in our relationship so far. We have been married 5 years now, and i love him so much. Our communication has not been so good b/w us since b4 he left and at this time while we are a part. he has become so close to shipmates and friends on FB, but barely anything b/w us. I still assure him of my love for him, but i don't want to over do it, can you help me? What do i need to do to restore our communication? Our love? and our struggles? Thanks for any help
